ABOUT THE COLLECTION
„I was afraid to talk about war. Growing up in a peaceful Europe, I didn’t feel entitled to address a suffering
I never personally endured. But as conflicts rise and hateful ideologies resurface across the European landscape, I began to reflect on my connection to war, which led me to my grandmother.
Her stories of growing up during a world war shaped me deeply from an early age.
As an artist, I felt compelled to step outside my comfort zone and use my craft to shed light on the fragile nature of peace and freedom and the values we defined in our society.
To my grandmother and every child suffering from war, I dedicate this collection as a reminder of the fragility of peace and the importance of questioning what we so easily take for granted.“
